The Camaiore town book documenting the 1466 election of the rector to the altar of Santa Barbara in the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Camaiore. This altar was in memory of the destroyed church of Montecastrese which was razed with the town by the Luccans in 1226. Only descendants of Montecastrese survivors were allowed to vote in the election of the rector; the majority of signees are Bonuccellis (bottom half of the page), proving the Bonuccellis originally came from Montecastrese.
