The World Reunion of Bonuccelli 2005 is now over and let me be the first to say it was a raucous, raging, outrageous success!!! Just as a benchmark, we were hoping to get around 85 people for the first night's welcome dinner. 190 showed up :) We were in the Versilian newspaper almost everyday of the week, we were featured on local and national TV news, we came, we saw, we conquered. More info and debriefing to come soon, but I give a gigantic thanks to everyone who attended, foreigners and Italians both, to help make this event so very special.

As most of you know, I've travelled these last two years to Camaiore, Italy, birthplace of the Bonuccelli to research my roots for the first time. Upon setting out on my adventure, I was hoping to connect my American branch of Bonuccelli to the Italians currently living there. My expectation was that I would be able to trace my family possibly back to the 1700s. Within three days I had a family chart back to the 13th century and tales of Bonuccelli history including the sacking of castles and spreading of descendants to the four corners of the planet.

The massive family chart you now find on this website links a huge amount of Bonuccelli throughout the world. Added to the site is an informational section which describes the history of the Bonuccelli and displays images of the family crests and townscapes in Italy.

Please peruse these listings and let me know if anything is out of order or missing. I still DESPERATELY NEED birthdates, deathdates, marriage dates, places, names of children - there are many gaps. So if you see anything missing PLEASE get in touch with me at the contacts below - THANK YOU!

Just as importantly, I'm trying to include a photo of everyone, so if you have any images of someone I'm missing a shot of, PLEASE email or mail them to me and I'll get them archived in the list - including and especially older photos of people back a few generations.

And lastly, if you are planning a trip to Italy, or desire to contact someone on the list whether in America or Italy, send me an email. I have contact info for many people on the list, and can put you in touch with your closest family on the other side of the ocean! If this website can serve to reconnect family long lost then it's done its job.
